Lee S. Wilbur boats, manufactured in Manset, Maine, were introduced in the early 80s to the present. The Wilbur 34 is available in several different models and the most popular have been the "Downeaster" as a trunk cabin with soft top and the Weekender, which has a shorter pilot house than a cruiser model. All are semi-custom, built to the customer's special needs. The Lee S. Wilbur Company will also custom finish hulls laid up by other builders as in the case of the Duffy/Wilbur.

BLUEBERRY GULL, the 42' featured above this text, is a custom Northern Star 42' model finished by the Wilbur Company and is ideal for extended cruising and live-aboards.

Manufactured by the John M. Williams Company, Inc. in Mount Desert, Maine from 1971 to the present. A custom boat builder who offers four Lyford Stanley designs including the Stanley 28, 36, 39 and 44.
This is a Harris 36
Manufactured by the Canyon Corporation in Essex, Massachusetts from the late 70s to the early 80s. The Harris 36 was available as a Sport Fisherman with a single or twin power. The example shown has a hard chine with a single 3208TA Caterpillar diesel. In 1997, Rocknaks converted this boat from a Sport Fisherman with a Marlin tower to a family day boat for island hopping.

Manufactured by Raymond and Bunker and Ralph Ellis in Southwest Harbor, Maine from the 1940s to 1978. Bunker and Ellis are well remembered for their plank on frame custom lobster yachts, many finished with varnished mahogany cabin sides and open pilot house. Several hulls were completed as working lobster hulls and it was a pleasure to see many of these well preserved survivors at the 1999 Bunker and Ellis rondevous in Southwest Harbor! Sizes ranged from 28' to 44'.

Manuafactured by the Holland Boat Shop, Belfast, Maine from the 70s to the present. Perhaps the Holland that has gained the most notariety has been the RED BARON, a constant winner in the Maine Lobster Boat Race circuit in the 32' class. Holland molds and finishes the Holland 32 and 38. Both models are available to other builders. Holland hulls have been adapted to both pleasure and commercial needs.
